Delivery Times — Sydney
We have a same day delivery service in Sydney, Monday to Saturday.
We ask that you place your order by 10am for delivery to business addresses and outlying suburbs. (These times are Eastern Australian Standard time).

Please note that, due to various courier services, we cannot guarantee specific delivery times.
(We have plenty of courier alternatives, some with guaranteed two hour delivery and tracking. Please ring us direct and we'll see what we can do.)


Delivery Times — Non-Sydney
NSW state-wide same day deliveries, Australia-wide same day deliveries, and international orders often need to be ordered the day before delivery (at a minimum).
Note that some of these deliveries will be handled by partners.

Return Flower Life
Here at Susan Avery we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services. However, it is important to remember that flowers are a perishable product. Flowers are sensitive and respond to the immediate indoor environment and external weather conditions. Extremes in heat and cold, or changes in the climate will have an affect on the flowers. Once flowers are dispatched from Susan Avery changed conditions may result in their longevity being reduced. This makes it difficult for us to guarantee the flower quality every time. We do our best. We condition the flowers as soon they arrive from the markets. We wet-wrap posies and bunches. We ensure our arrangements have squeaky clean vase and containers for. It is also important to note that all flowers are unique. Therefore, some flowers will open fully and others will not open at all. Just as some flowers are more fragrant than others. This does not mean that they are of a lesser quality, these are simply different variations of the same flowers. For example, roses are more fragrant when grown in the warmer months than those grown in the cooler months.

Care Instructions
In order to increase the life span of your flowers, we recommend changing the water in the vase every 2 days and cutting the flower stems on a sharp angle. The addition of flower preservative adds to longevity. 
 

Conditions for Returns 
Your flowers should last between 3-7 days. However, should your flowers perish within the first two days, we are happy to send you new flowers. Before replacing your order, Susan Avery must be satisfied that all care instructions provided were adhered to. Therefore, it is our policy to pick up the original flowers at the time of the new order delivery in order for our florists to determine the cause of the problem. If the original flowers are disposed of, a new order cannot be arranged. Flowers need to be picked up by Susan Avery within 3 days of original order.
 

Cancellation of Orders 
If you want to cancel your web order, your money will be refunded less a $20 administration fee. All refunds will be made back to the credit card used for the original transaction.
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the requested delivery date and time. We are unable to cancel any orders already made and awaiting delivery.
